Hello! I’m Kathy Prewitt, Licensed Massage Therapist and owner of Sweetgrass Massage. For me, massage is about presence, about connection with self and others, and about healing through touch.  I strive to help you connect with your body, listen to your inner wisdom, and find healing and wellness from within. I deeply respect each person who chooses to receive bodywork from me and consider it a gift to be a part of your personal care, growth, and healing.

I've been providing compassionate bodywork since 2007, offering various therapeutic treatments, including Swedish/Relaxation, Trigger Point Therapy, Acupressure, Sports Massage, Reflexology, Ashiatsu DeepFeet Bar Therapy, and massage for people living with cancer (oncology massage). I've had the honor of providing therapeutic bodywork for Olympic-bound athletes at the Olympic Track and Field Trials, people in hospice care, people undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, and transfusions at OHSU, and people in need of a safe, compassionate space for healing from chronic stress, pain, trauma, and PTSD. I am trained in Trauma Informed Bodywork.

In addition to my massage training, I have a Masters in Education (M.Ed.) and have worked in social services and the healthcare field. I have also taken coursework in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Nonviolent Communication (NVC), Vipassana meditation, Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE), and continue to learn and be in awe of the mind-body-emotion-spirit connection.

I am currently accepting insurance with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) and Pacific Source Health Plans. Please contact me ahead of time to verify coverage.

I look forward to meeting you!

~With great kindness, Kathy
