I received a massage as a gift from a family in my class. I am spoiled, obviously! 😍 Kathy's massage was the best I have ever had in my life. She is professional, calm, and so kind. All details are thought of, each of her actions service a purpose. She checks in regularly. The location is intimate, feels safe and private. It is absolutely an indulgence and therapeutic. Fantastic.

Kathy is a highly skilled master of massage! And the environment looks and feels like a sanctuary! Kathy listens carefully during the check in and reflects accurately on how I’m experiencing my body. She’s empathetic and encouraging and I feel good about managing my migraines and other problem areas. I appreciate how/when Kathy checks in during the massage while monitoring her use of pressure. I really like how Kathy approaches the muscular structure of the body —when I arrive my body feels like separated parts which have various degrees of pain and when I emerge from the table I feel unified and pain free. The entire massage experience with Kathy feels more like a retreat!

Kathy has elegant hands and an empathic ear and heart. I inhabit a chronically torqued spine and her deep work was incredibly helpful. It changed the vertical landscape for several days, which is considerably longer than the usual few hours' relief that has been my normal experience of bodywork.

Therapeutic Bodywork Since 2007

* Swedish Massage: A relaxing, full-body and stress-reducing massage that uses long, soft but firm sweeping strokes with the massage therapist's hands and forearms as well as kneading, tapping, friction, or vibration to move muscles back and forth. It's both relaxing and energizing. 60 or 90 minutes

* Reflexology: A deeply relaxing massage that uses finger pressure to areas on the feet, hands and ears that correspond to organs and systems of the body. It helps reduce pain and psychological symptoms, such as anxiety and depression, and enhances sleep. 60 or 90 minutes

* Ashiatsu Massage: Perfect for people who love deep pressure! This is a barefoot massage technique with deep, broad, consistent pressure using the massage therapist's feet, body weight, and gravity. This deep therapeutic massage is fluid and relaxing. Parallel bars are used above the massage table for balance, support and safety. 60 or 90 minutes

* Cupping Therapy: An ancient bodywork technique using negative pressure by lifting the tissue with suction to help decrease pain, inflammation, digestive problems, and increase circulation and stress relief. Great for shoulder and back tension, carpal tunnel, joint disorders, sinus congestion, athletic performance and more. Either integrated into a massage therapy session or as a stand-alone treatment. 60 or 90 minutes
